Dynamic DNS Services

Dynamic DNS services allow a user to run a client to update a hostname for their system with their current IP. This is handy for users that use dial-up connections, or other Internet services that result in frequently (or even infrequently) changing IPs. It can also be used for static IPs, if you just need a single (or a few) hostnames and do not want to pay for an entire domain.

XML-RPC Blogging/News Service

This service is an XML-RPC based API that will let you write a news or blogging service without having to setup their own database, or doing much of the other programming work. It's designed to be simple to use and understand, with some features I've found useful over the years in an article system.
