Miscellaneous Stuff
This website has a massive amount of stuff just packed away in little directories all over it. However, most of it isn't relevant at all to Geeks Anonymous, or has been lost to the channels of time. So, this page is a conglomeration of everything that I've left out of other areas, and some things that are hard to find in the other areas. You might find something interesting here, but you can never quite be sure. It'll take some time to sort through all 1.5 gigabytes of information packed away in this directory, but one day it'll all be catalogued for your pleasure.
- Just what is a slePP?
- Out of sheer boredome one night, I wrote this comprehensive book entitled slePP. It's a bit of a self history of the nickname, and a little bit funny. Some people thought it was the stupidest thing they've ever read, others found it immensely funny... That's for you to decide, but I can pretty much say that it won't be a complete waste of time.
- Pictures of slePP
- A small assortment of pictures of myself over the past few years. Again, for the curious ones, it might be interesting. There's no descriptions or times from the pictures, but I haven't changed much in the past 5 years.
- Physics Models and Pictures
- Again, out of boredom, a long time ago (I was in grade 11), I did some 3D animation models in POV-Ray of an atom with its electrons orbitting it. Somewhat fun to watch, but not much more useful than that.
- Letters and Rants
- Here is a collection of some of the public things I've written. Just general rants, views on life, that sort of deep reading. You never quite know what will be hiding there to read.
- slePP's Computer Experience
- This is a quick listing (long) of most of the things slePP knows about computers. If you're bored, as you must be to get this far in the list, take a peek and revel in his supremecy...... Or something.
- PVM Cluster and 3D Rendering
- One week, when I had a lot of time and I was entirely bored, I setup a PVM cluster across servers in the group as well as ones that I have accounts on (after gaining permission from the owners). At the largest this cluster has ever been, it was a powerful little rendering farm. It had right around 25 systems in the cluster. Check this page out for a little more information on it. There is also a sample rendering I did using the cluster.
- GA Library Project - Linked List Library
- Over time, I've written a lot of applications. In a lot of them, I tend to rewrite common components such as Linked Lists, Binary Trees, Memory Allocation Routines, and other trinkets. Of course, rewriting them all makes no sense. So, I've decided to write myself a library to use. So far, the linked list functions are the ones I've worked on the most. The memory routine stuff needs a lot of work to be portable and usable by other people. Anyway, I've setup some function information about each of the files in the linked list library. You might find it interesting to read through (if you're a C programmer). Once I get this software to a point where it will compile on more than Anteek, I'll provide a place to download the library if you want.
- Various Statistics
- At this page, you can view a number of statistics of various services and so forth running on the various servers at Geeks Anonymous. Most of the information is somewhat useless, but all in all, it's not that bad. Take a look, see what you find of interest.
